The Casper Balloon RoundUp is a high-flying celebration of color, community, and Wyoming skies. Held each July at Mike Sedar Park, this three-day event brings together balloon pilots, locals, and visitors for early-morning launches, family-friendly fun, and unforgettable memories.
Now organized by a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the RoundUp is built on community spirit, volunteer support, and a love for all things ballooning. Whether you’re watching the sun rise behind a field of glowing balloons or helping crew one into the sky, the Casper Balloon RoundUp is about more than flight, it’s about connection, adventure, and celebrating everything that makes Natrona County shine.
Meet Our Balloon Meister

Meet Tamie Orr, our fearless Balloon Meister and the go-to guru for all things flight-related at the Casper Balloon RoundUp. Whether she’s wrangling pilots, lining up crews, or cracking jokes at 5 a.m., Tamie keeps the launch field running like a well-oiled (and brightly colored) machine. She’s not just a local balloon rockstar, Tamie also flies full-time with World Balloon in Albuquerque, NM, sharing the skies with passengers from all over the globe.
